Brown sugar is amazing for a couple reasons - it adds moisture to baked goods and has molasses in it that adds great flavor. Add the vanilla, salt, and ΒΌ teaspoon of the cinnamon and beat until combined. Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually add the flour.
