I am excited to show you a new method of forming the checkerboard suggested by August, a fan of Roti n Rice. These fun checkerboard cookies are easier to make than they look! - This is for Vanilla portion: In a bowl cream together butter + sugar till fluffy..

- Take out from fridge and shape to a square log.Place on eachother and cut into 3 portions..
- Now with those place one stripe on eachother with opposite colour on eachother.Press a beat..
- Now repeat above procedure again..
- Now your square log is ready to be sliced !! Cut keeping distance and place on baking tray..
- Heat oven at 170C.
- Put tray of cookies in oven and bake 15mins.
