Sugar Cookies. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and baking soda; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Place on greased baking sheets; flatten with a glass.
Remove to wire racks to cool.

- Notes: The best results that I have had baking this cookie is when they are a bit under-baked. The color will be a light brown and the center of the cookies drop down a little bit from the edges..
