With Valentine's Day approaching, I figured it was as good a time as any to share my Bourbon Biscuit Brownie recipe with you.

Ingredients of BOURBON BISCUIT BROWNIES
- It's 125 grams of Soft butter.
- Prepare 100 grams of Chocolate.
- You need 200 grams of Caster sugar.
- It's 50 grams of Cocoa powder.
- Prepare 75 grams of Self raising flour.
- You need 2 of Eggs.
- You need 1 packages of Bourbon Biscuits.
Fancy making yourself a batch or three of these? Pfft, who are you kidding - of course, you do! These brownies use bourbon biscuits much like other brownies use chocolate chips. The biscuits get chopped up (surprisingly easy to do) and stirred into the batter, with a few placed on top before baking.
BOURBON BISCUIT BROWNIES instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 170c and line a tin with baking parchment and butter the paper.
- Make a bain-marie and put the butter and chocolate in the bowl and melt over the heat.
- Once done sift the flour, sugar and cocoa powder into the chocolate mix and fold in.
- Add the eggs then half the pack of bourbons.
- Lay it in the tin, making sure to get right to the sides and sprinkle the rest of the bourbons on top.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 mins and enjoy!!.
