- Mix 1 box yellow cake mix, half cup butter softened, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and two eggs until smooth.
- Stir in 2/3 cups chocolate chips and/or nuts.
- Place dough in the refrigerator (not freezer) overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Make dough into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°F.

These chocolate chip cookies are so soft and chewy, it is hard to believe they are made from a cake mix.. I used Pilsbury Classic Yellow cake mix (w/ pudding in the mix) and they were delicious! The cookies were even better the next day. Be careful not to over cook them. I took mine out the second I saw a very light golden color.
